The need for power supplies that offer quiet work alongside more power and efficiency is ever-
increasing. Numerous manufacturers have recently presented the market with their own visions of
quiet PSUs. Next to the Silent PRO series Cooler Master comes with the Silent PRO Gold series.
This new series has a range from 600 up to 1200 W of power. The tested model was 800 Watt.
Conclusion:
In everyday conditions, even under load, this power supply was very quiet, perhaps even the quietest the reviewers ever tested. Loaded with two graphics cards in Crossfire mode, the PSU still remained merely warm and had no hot spots whatsoever, which is an additional plus, since quiet PSUs tend to heat more severely.
